Paul Adams is the CEO of EverEdge, a global advisory and transaction firm specialising in intangible assets. EverEdge helps companies and capital providers convert intangible assets (such as data, design, inventions, brands, software and content) into business impact: increased margins, market share and enterprise value.

Paul has been ranked as one of the top intellectual property strategists in the world for the last five years consecutively and was the recipient of the Global IP Leader Award in 2012. Prior to EverEdge, Paul served as Intellectual Property Manager for the New York Stock Exchange listed Brunswick New Technologies. He was the founding incubator manager of The Icehouse Incubator, named one of the top 10 technology incubators in the world by Forbes magazine. He has served on the advisory board of the New Zealand government’s commercialisation vehicle Callaghan Innovation and on the Board of Lewis Holdings, a $350M private investment vehicle.

Priti is a strategic business technologist, an educator, entrepreneur, and evangelist for women in business and technology. An engineer by education and training, Priti has 13+ years of experience in various roles across engineering, business, strategy, consulting and education. She is a thought leader on the future of work, dynamics of digital collaboration for thriving societies, disruptive emerging technologies and its applications to business.

As member of the faculty and Director of Innovation at Tech Futures Lab, Priti shares her vision and perspectives on the future of work, business and society introducing individuals and businesses to possibilities around emerging disruptive technologies.

Priti is part of the core team at ItsNoon a software company. Itsnoon activates inclusive online networks through digital and social frameworks that enable people and organisations activate meaningful relationships with their communities, customers and stakeholders.

Priti has also co-founded The Next Billion, an impact-driven enterprise that pools collective resources to invest in female-led businesses.

She sits on the Boards of Auckland Chamber of Commerce and Superdiverse Women.

Born and raised in Mumbai, Priti has lived and worked in the United States for 13+ years prior to moving to Auckland, NZ with her husband and sons in May 2015. She holds a Master of Science degree from University of Maryland (USA) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Mumbai (India).

Colin has been involved in the IT and more specifically the cyber security industry now for over 25 years, and has been in the role of Head of Security with Vodafone NZ for the past seven years. In 2019 Colin moved into a new role within Vodafone Group becoming the Head of Cyber Security for the AMAP region (Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific), including the Vodacom markets in South Africa.

Still based in New Zealand Colin’s responsibilities now include developing the long-term security strategy for the AMAP region and managing cyber risk across all the markets. He is responsible for ensuring Vodafone markets in the region are prepared to navigate the future threat landscape, and can provide a safe connected experience for it global customer base. Working on a global stage Colin is managing cyber risk and threats in markets from New Zealand and Australia through to Qatar, Egypt, Ghana, India, and South Africa.

He began his career by joining the Royal New Zealand Air Force and spent 11 years in the military on various deployments and operations.

Passionate about a safe digital society, Colin has been a Netsafe board member since 2014. Outside of work he can be seen at the Auckland Observatory, where he is involved in public lectures on astronomy and celestial navigation and acts as the CTO for the Observatory and Planetarium.

Founder and director of Chnnl Ltd, a innovative digital start up with a vision to see people in the workplace thrive with a fully digital platform providing insights into the mental health and wellbeing. Using world-class research, natural language processing, machine learning and AI Chnnl is able to detect declining mental wellbeing far earlier and enable an organisation to take action with specific and targeted support. Chnnl also enables a safe place for issues such as bullying and sexual harassment to be reported.

Elizabeth is a governance guru, with roles on both industry and community-based boards. She has a wealth of experience in the health sector, starting her career as a Registered Nurse in community Māori Health, before starting Medical School.
Elizabeth is focused on solutions that help the health workforce combat issues such as burnout, depression, anxiety and suicide, and is an active researcher in this space. After founding a peer mentoring program for medical students and seeing its success, she is now wildly passionate about supporting workplace culture. Elizabeth lives in Auckland and is a junior doctor at Waitemata District Health Board. She has been past President of the Otago University Medical Students' Association, New Zealand Medical Students' Association, Chair of the New Zealand Medical Benevolent Fund, and currently sits on the Ministry of Health's Professional Behaviour Taskforce group, Trustee of Wāhine Connect Trust and on the Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) board.

Boyd recently moved to Wellington New Zealand where he is independently exploring and building a full stack for Connected Devices. Before starting his current project, Boyd spent 18 years at Microsoft running engineering for Xbox Live, XNA (game developer program), and everything OS for Xbox One. This work involved everything from building large scaled-out datacentre services, VMs, down to the layout of the hypervisor/kernel.

Dr Sean Brady is a forensic structural engineer who specialises in identifying the cause of defects and failures in the construction and engineering sectors. Sethi has over 23 years of experience in the CPG, hospitality, healthcare and textile industries. Prior to joining Reddy Ice, she held executive positions in IT with ClubCorp and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. She has recently been recognized as ‘Top 15 Business Women’ in Dallas.

Penelope recently finished a secondment, working work with the KiwiRail Executive team and board to help reshape KiwiRail’s strategy and drive a customer led future of Rail, one that has purpose beyond profit, and building stronger connections to move the transport sector and New Zealand forward. She has currently been seconded to the CIO role, to shape and drive the next phase of digital transformation, aligned to the new KiwiRail strategy. The main focus is scaling out our early digital successes and ramping up capacity and capability to deliver digital solutions that help KiwiRail realise its ambitious growth aspirations. Prior to moving into ICT 6 years ago, she headed up KiwiRail’s National Planning function, responsible for translating high level business strategy into commercial and operational strategic plans, including the development of new products and services.

In a decade long career at IBM he held a number of senior executive roles in Europe before spending the last 4 years in Australia as a “thought leader” in Industrial Artificial Intelligence and Analytics.
